Before adopting, under an intergovernmental agreement on raw materials, a measure that may affect trade in an agricultural product between the Parties, the Party proposing the adoption of the measure shall consult with the other Parties to avoid the cancellation or alteration of a concession granted by that Party in its Schedule to Annex 302.2. Implementation of national policies or international agreements relating to the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices; or, at the request of a Party, consult with the Parties to consider expediting the elimination of the customs duties set out in its timetables. An agreement between two or more Parties to expedite the elimination of a customs duty on a good shall replace any additional duty or category established in accordance with its schedule for those goods, if approved by each of those Contracting Parties in accordance with their applicable legal procedures. Under this Article, no Party shall be required to apply the procedures provided for in multilateral agreements concluded under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization for the acquisition or maintenance of intellectual property rights. Article XX of the GATT and its opinions of interpretation or any equivalent provision of a successor Agreement to which all the Contracting Parties are parties shall be incorporated into this Agreement and shall form an integral part of this Agreement. . . .
